[rewatching s1, e3] in retrospect, it's absolutely hilarious that sauron is just waiting around for galadriel to wake up with a plate of food made just for her, concocting the perfect opening line to try and cajole her, and our girl just wakes up ready to scratch his eyes out 🤣

i hope season four and season five open with flashbacks, too. come on mcpayne, give me melkor and mairon together on screen. just. once.

look a lot of things completely suck right now but at least we’re almost to dark lord halbrand, diva king of failed proposals, knocking on the lady of light’s mind all season while her husband gets closer. so that’s something to look forward to. and i, for one, am so seated.
