Been reading the stonetop ttrpg books. It's got me kinda hyped. This thing is cool. I skimmed alot of book 2 and am now carefully reading book 1. Exciting!
I kinda hate when people say a game is boring when someone shows total dominance in a game. It's like, no, I don't enjoy watching good play that heavily gaps the competition. I like watching both teams scrap it out in a messy way. It happens in every sport smh.
Adrian Tchaikovsky's books haven't missed for me yet. Just banger after banger. Sometimes the main character is charming, other times the world building is the star. It's just always good. I loved the Children of Time series. Alien Clay was really fun too.
Late to the party but Spain looked really good versus Belgium. They're a low-scoring team in a WC of teams that know how to score a lot though, and they might really struggle versus some better teams. I like the way they play soccer despite their low scores.
