I think on a personal level I like it just an inch more than TAS. TAS is probably objectively the better show in terms of quality, but I like BatB for its great team ups and banter, plus Batman in it is written so well as half serious half catty asshole and it's a lot of fun.

I think it's seriously in competition for the title. For my money it is absolutely.

Always worried about going back to older stuff I used to watch to see if it still holds up but sometimes you go back to something and it's even better than you remembered.

It was a good one, made any financial misstep easier to deal with and in general has helped a ton. I think it should be like a requirement for high school seniors ngl.

I remember we had a semester wide stock project where we traded stocks on some website (fake money and stocks but it was based on the genuine day-to-day data of NASDAQ; was basically day trading minus any actual money) and I went bust and had to explain my poor broking choices lmfao.

Also remembering too all the jokes or gags written by people who DID play games; like the Mayor from PPG just straight up playing Ocarina of Time, or like Undergrads having Not-Quake in it. Shout-outs to them.

I had to think about this and in a sense you're right, but Disco Elysium feels like a gag written by an early 2000s gamer who would play games making a joke about how new games are too story-based and not about shooting people.

I still have yet to finish this but have been chipping away at it (just got to the last third of the map) — it's such a damn good game, only reason I haven't finished it is cause I got caught with other stuff too but it's always a game on my periphery as "I want to finish it" cause it's so damn good
