Fast paced cyberpunk I know existed before cypk: 2077 and edgerunners, but with audience exposed to those games then I can see industry also leaning the cyberpunk genre to that.

This maybe hot topic/questiin: do you think the reason they finally decide to adapt masamune shirow gits is due to edgerunners curving the genre to be more hectic? Not the slow/noirish tones cyberpunk go for influenced by blade runner.
