Tens of thousands of Virginians have had their voting rights restored thanks to a move from Gov. Abigail Spanberger. Spanberger announced that her office has restored voting rights for more than 66,000 people who have served their punishments after being charged with crimes.

I have been called an alarmist and worse by well meaning people who want to think it will just all be ok. The truth is it doesn't always end up ok and we can't pretend it will. Donald Trump is targeting Black voters and women to rig this election. We need to stand up, call it out and take action.
