Impossible to square the circle of (1) opposition to territorial acquisition by force must be a bedrock of the global order and (2) Russia should get to conquer Ukraine, it's not Russia's fault for trying and it's wrong for anyone to help the Ukrainians work to thwart Russia's aggressive war effort.
