There was a time when rich people built infrastructure, bought land for parks, built libraries, museums, and sponsored scholarships. They don’t even need to be so philanthropic as to build affordable housing, just concerned about leaving a good legacy.

While reading “The Name of the Wind” I honestly have no idea where it’s going and that’s so exciting! I felt the same way about “A Song of Ice and Fire”. Even Dungeon Crawler Karl catches me off guard! But sooo many hollywood movies fail to surprise or delight me because it’s too formulaic.
