yes !!!!!!! i totally agree. letting go of guilt and judgement of yourself/feelings paves the path for growth, self-acceptance, and making repairs/amends. approaching your feelings with curiosity and open-mindedness rather than guilt and avoidance allows you to grow from them <3

ok i'm musing and this probably should've been a journal thought but i know many of us (artists and creatives, but people in general) deal with this too so uhhhhh yeah. let's let go of guilt.... TOGETHER!

2. i must embrace the idea that i am surrounded by love because i Am. though there are bad actors out there, the wrath of others and the fear of disappointing someone nameless and faceless is something i am strong enough to withstand on my own and with the love and support of those around me.

i see how unproductive and illogical it is for me to hang onto this guilt like it's going to be my saving grace, my absolution. i have internalized the idea that my humility will spare me from the wrath of others but: 1. the only absolution i need to seek is within myself.

an example. i feel guilty about not prioritizing an aspect of my art -> i feel the need to apologize (to who? myself? yall?) -> i avoid the thing even more -> i stall out -> the cycle of guilt grows exponentially from here

to be a little Pawsonal, i'm unpacking a lot of my guilt in therapy! not about one specific thing, but just that it is a persistent boulder in my life that i lug around for NO REASON!!!!! i am working on letting it go <3

a note to everyone and especially myself, in the least dire way possible: the only way forward is to continue!! all that matters is that you keep going!!!! guilt and pain and heartache are not things that you need to carry around! just keep going!
