A trawl through the newspaper archives give the last activity in 1991 so I imagine like many of these diaspora societies it dwindled as members aged, 2nd generations "naturalised" and new expatriates didn't replace them. Notably much more reporting about it in Yorkshire than Edinburgh papers

Eight were originally laid. Two were removed pre-2014 and remainder in 2019 after years of vehicles being driven over them in a notionally "pedestrianised" street had heavily damaged them. One ended up for sale online I can't recall what happened to it.
