indeed, and im probably in a better place than many of my age cohort as my parents were 40 when they had me and my oldest grandparent was still only born in 1920, the youngest 1928.

part of the issue with Odyssey discourse is that while most of it is just misogyny there is still this weird idea that academics have way more cultural power than we do that somehow Wilson is 'punching down' on one of the most successful filmmakers of all time
