Okay I was frustrated at Chief Barnes and wanted him to go but a $700k payout was not what I imagined as the price! Woooow.

How do we still not know what's going on with Chief Barnes? Given how often Seattle has had an acting police chief since Barnes was hired practically there's not a reason to be super quick... But the lack of comms about this is weird esp on the heels of Sunday. www.kuow.org/politics/202...

20,000 Leagues Under the Sea (1954) is still as fun as I remember! James Mason is excellent as Captain Nemo, so serious and with great hair. Kirk Douglas is a snack as the whaler Mr Land. The score is extra dramatic.

I watched the film The Final Countdown last night. It's from around 1980 and stars Kirk Douglas and Martin Sheen. It's about an aircraft carrier in Hawaii that goes through a mysterious storm and what happens after. The plot is very thin... Mostly it's a fun with Navy planes movie.
