Of course, if you’re in a state with public sector bargaining rights, build a majority and assert those rights. But you can start acting like a union with or without formal recognition.

Looks fascinating! I’ve done simulations in my labor history classes, but nothing this elaborate. Am just at the early stages of putting something together for the fall because assigning traditional papers is not gonna work.
