I made this so long ago now and I've since burnished the edges and kept it well oiled and never work without it. If you forge a lot I can't recommend something like this enough. It lets me go past my limits without risking injury.

Another setting up the camera shot after I turned off that nasty LED work light and got more natural light from the forge. Up on the wall there is my kindling I use to start the forge, mostly thin pine scraps and lots of ash veneer

I'm pretty happy with my body from the top of my neck to the bottom of my sternum. They should invent a blacksmithing that works your core and waistline so I can do that too.

I'm dirtier than usual because I shoveled a lot of coal before starting work and it's rainy and humid out so the dust just stuck to me.
