Yeah it’s fine 90% of the time but it takes one thousand years to dry on the marker paper I like using u_u I think the paper is most of the problem but I like it too much to switch

Diamine Forever seems real promising, it dries fast but the lines aren't as dark as the carbon black. I've been using Diamine Bilberry ink for doodling lately, which is real bun bc it's purple but it absolutely HATES highlighters. It's fun for alcohol marker sketching though

Ordered some ink samples and am back on my nonsense I did all but the carbon black tests with a dip pen, which lays down a much wetter line than my fountain pen, so I'm gonna slowly work my way through testing them in a proper pen.

- economics of freelancing, how to actually network and not just send dozens of busy people emails about how they got a job, interview skills, DOING TAXES AS A FREELANCER. Pretty much anything would've been more useful than that class. I get heated just thinking about it.

Useless professor decided that us designing our portfolio websites needed to be a group project, IE, "if one person in your group doesn't finish the assignment, you all fail". Which led to some hostility, as you can imagine. Would've preferred something more related to contracts, -

Not for comics, but my animation course at SCAD had "professional development" and I had to do deep breathing exercises after every class it was so infuriating. It was taught by a professor who hadn't had to job hunt in like 20 years, and for some reason was entirely group projects.

I do want to clarify that folks asking why the comic updated late aren't the problem! I ran out of scheduled updates without realizing and I AM sorry for keeping y'all waiting. It's the entitled "Don't you have a comic you need to update? Chop chop, *artist*" attitude that gets under my skin.

That kind of entitled talk can ruin someone's motivation to keep making their project that, AGAIN, you get to enjoy FOR FREE. I'm able to keep posting the comic on a regular basis because of my Patreon supporters. Imagine if they had said that to someone else.

Commenting on my social media posts saying "Hey, don't you have a comic to update?" when I'm a few minutes late to update is REAL shitty, and a part of me wishes I had gone to bed and made them wait until morning. But I didn't want to do that to the rest of my readers. You know, the nice ones.

I love my readers and I'm so grateful to everyone who supports me and my works, but man, it sucks how much a handful of entitled people can sour something. Please remember that I am putting my works online for free, for your enjoyment, but that I am still a person with feelings. 🙏
