John21 июл., 00:29They get healthcare while they're in office, but it's not free or for life. They get their insurance through the ACA and pay for a portion of it. They can choose to continue coverage after they leave office but it's subject to vesting limits similar to their pension.
John20 июл., 23:23They don't get a salary for life. They may receive some kind of a pension if they're there long enough for it to vest. Probably gets the healthcare though.
