I would like to take a moment to retract that thing I said 47 years ago about going to bed early being a punishment.

Max Miller is the perfect example of a principle I’ve learned is foolproof when it comes to toxic people: You can learn everything you need to know about someone by the way they handle being confronted with things they definitely did.

If there is some level of guilt even guiltier than just guilty, that Max Miller dude is it. Dude throws major psychopath vibes.

I took this picture of the fog rolling in over Belfast Harbour in Belfast, Maine a couple weeks ago. At first, I didn’t like it for a combination of dumb and fussy reasons. It’s growing on me. 

It’s always “You have ADHD.” Why is it never “Thank you for telling me about the geologic history of what is now New Jersey after having spent hours reading about it because you saw this cool rock outside a Barnes & Noble, Mike.”

I was up at the buttcrack of dawn this morning when it was still dark out. It had been pouring all night. Took this picture with my phone. It isn’t even a shot of something. It just captured… I don’t know… the vibe? Regardless, I like it.

It took one sixteen-hundredth of a second this morning to make my whole day. That’s a ruby-throated hummingbird. They’re beautiful birds, aren’t they?

Please observe this sandwich I recently consumed. Arepa stuffed with shredded chicken, black beans, plantains, and cheese. Little Venezuelan place in Allentown, PA. The owner spoke little English. I speak little Spanish. I just asked for what she likes. OMG. Amazing.
