ER, Greys…now this. Med dramas’ popularity and critical success never cease to amaze. I’ve watched both seasons of the Pitt, and it’s not special imo. Nothing exciting happens (recalls ER’s crashing helicopter) and the acting is meh. It’s just er med drivel for the common mind.
Episode one, the guy who first found the signal says they (the alien race) would need an antenna the size of Africa to transmit that signal due to the power it would take to reach earth. It’s when he’s outside throwing a mini football around with the guy he had meet him at the array
Building an antenna the size of Africa. Wether or not that’s the true size based off initial speculation by the signal discoverer remains to be seen, but a significant population would be needed to build the antenna as fast as possible.
I think Samba was in a grey area unfortunately. Not enough screen time for supporting and too much for guest.
I don’t know the “rules” for that, just guessing.
Regardless, it’s a huge disappointment.
Rhea is winning for sure. And VG will win either writing or directing if not both.
I’d love for Karolina Wydra to win, but with limited screen time compared to other nominees, it’s not super likely. Her performance is stellar though.
Music and cinematography likely wins too.
It’s all part of the plan I think. Makes for a more complex storyline I suppose and, well, gets people talking. Although it’s safe to say her personality (and many say the pace of the show) did turn a lot of viewers off.
Haha yes!
According to Gilligan and Co, it was left intentionally (and assumed as Carol’s choice) as it was her only human connection. They also found it a bit comedic. Plus Patrick Fabian’s voice, so it had legs with the cast/crew.
