A good film, right there. Refreshing to see the talented Goldie Hawn NOT being pigeonholed into playing her usual film persona. Serious stuff. And John Heard - intense role, which he nailed.

I like this episode a lot. Especially that tranquil scene at her little childhood home. Shows you what a terrific actor Falk - an only child - was. In this episode he mentions to her his BIG family. "We were never lonely," he says. Did it with such conviction that for years I thought it was true.

😊 It's such a wonder. I love it because you get to see the ensemble effect - that people never create on their own but are gratefully (or should be) reliant upon other talented folks, too. I like Jackson Browne's humbleness, shyness. He doesn't mind that folks see it. Take THAT, you AI, you!😮

Love. IT! I was a member of The Road Theatre Company for 8 years, as crew. These were heavy-hitting Equity and SAG actors; I was just grateful to be included in productions. Light Board/Sound Board during the run, moving scenery, running lines, washing dishes and... Stage Manager. Like family...😊

Oh that's terrific! Our theatre company was first in Van Nuys before moving to the NoHo Arts District on Lankershim Blvd. And of course I obsessed over a woman living in Burbank although nothing ever came of it...😏
