I read an interesting book that touched on this. Basically that when the paradigm where women were 'incomplete' men was overtaken by the idea that women and men were binary opposites, we *lost* a lot of scientific knowledge, such as about prostates and ejaculation in people with vulvas

it's also at a comparative weakness because the other books are all really good, esp Unkindness, and Model Home

unpopular opinion but The Deep is my least favourite of faer books. I felt like it had no momentum

I remember I skipped a period when I caught covid in 2020, then I also skipped a period the first time I got the vaxx. I've had an annual booster every year since and it hasn't affected my period since the first year. Not sure if due to change of how the vaxx is made or if my body is used to it now
