tl;dr modern game dev for AAA titles takes fucking FOREVER, and perfect game is perfect just the way it is. I'm GLAD they're not gonna touch it. Signed, A heifer who has spent literally hundred of hours on VI across various consoles and knows a little about game dev for reasons :)

And that was just for the first of the three installments. VI has so many more characters, and scenarios, and there's all the programming and rendering and voice recording and good fucking lord, YES, it would take hella games to do on modern scale but even then they need to leave it alone anyway.
