Apparently, Eli Roth made a bad movie. So what else is new?

I made an Instagram account. Mostly to use as an archive for all the spooky banners I make. I probably won't be too active over there, but feel free to check it out www.instagram.com/the.last.som...
Hi new folks and old friends! I just wanted to drop by and remind everyone that I write spooky stories. Usually about monsters, or more abstract horrors, or just bad people doing bad things I'm pretty good at being spooky and all of my stories are free over on Ko-fi 🦇👻🦇 ko-fi.com/thelastsomet...
Make this Friday a little freakier with a spooky little story about a freaky little farm 👻👻
The Last SomethingThis is a story I wrote about a really strange farm. It's one of my favorites. ko-fi.com/post/The-Sun...

I don't, really. Honestly, I don't know much about poisonous plants. Deadly nightshade has a cool name, nice and gothic #HorrorWritersChat
Artemis Quinn 🏳️⚧️🎨📚The sun feels warmer, your skin buzzing with new life. Do you have a favorite poisonous plant, #HorrorWritersChat ? Why? What draws you to it?
The roots dig deeper into my veins, foxgloves sprouting from my skin My legs untwine, separating into thin green strands which fall into a tangled heap My body extends, a twisted beanstalk reaching towards the sky My eyes unfurl, sightless petals It's time to bloom #HorrorWritersChat
Artemis Quinn 🏳️⚧️🎨📚The strange compulsion to reach out and touch one of the plants overtakes you. As your fingers touch the petals, they tingle. You freeze, watching tendrils reach out cautiously from the plant. "The roots dig deeper into my veins, foxgloves sprouting from my skin." Finish it. #HorrorWritersChat
Not exactly. Some of the Fleshscape stuff could be considered plant-adjacent. It's kind of eco-horror, just a weird fleshy kind While I do write about the woods quite often, I tend to focus more on the creatures that live there. I haven't had a good idea for a plant story yet #HorrorWritersChat
Artemis Quinn 🏳️⚧️🎨📚The garden is bright and vibrant with a wash of flowers. Oleander. Monkshood. Hydrangea and Mountain Laurel bushes. Small placquards stand beside each one. You realize as you read them, they're symptoms. QUESTION 2 - Have you ever written anything centering plants or poisons? #HorrorWritersChat
