Personally in a toilet I'm attending to what I'm attending to. I'm not thinking about what everyone else has got in their undies or what sex they were assigned at birth and certainly not photographing anyone because I'm not a sick fuck.

My point is that they stick to some of their policies but are weak on others and their own policies mean you can't be sure what you're voting for. You get what your local party chooses and what the elected candidate feels like doing.

16/ will be no shortage of independents to choose from. And incidentally I would never consider standing for parliament/council myself for the same reason that ill health which has stopped me working means I couldn't do it justice so it wouldn't be fair to voters. End.

15/ To clarify what I will vote for: A candidate who - has an established history of community activism locally to them - who I can find on social media - who either canvasses or who I can contact in some way to check their stance on important issues. I am sure in Shabana Mahmoods constituency there

14/ councillors locally but I can't take the risk based on the shaky stance of the national party on its own policy and the choice of candidates made by the local party.

13/ of a Reform MP you've got to persuade the electorate and not just expect people to vote for you, because I know councillors have been inundated with correspondence and voters, like me, will certainly be making decisions based on their councillor. There are undoubtedly some very good Green

12/ I think choosing candidates who can't do the role will backfire because of course it's three years to a GE and other people will be noting what their new councillors are doing. I believe Birmingham Green Party are hoping to take Ladywood but in a constituency where there is little to no risk

11/ There is also a broader problem in the Green local organisation that what you get is completely dependent on the local party and local parties develop their own culture. Eg I keep hearing all sorts of strange things going on in Warwickshire.

10/ very much like what went before and we voted Green for a change and the radical transformation in the party's values, not what we could have had with Labour.

9/ There is also the specific local issue that the Green deputy leader of the council and the Lib Dem leader have had increased remuneration so they're the highest paid council leaders in Europe, which is nice for them but the whole inability to do anything while increasing your own reward looks

8/ and then not giving them support. Nobody in their right mind would stand as a Councillor in the train wreck which is Birmingham City Council and be surprised at being snowed under. If they can't do it or expected to be paper candidates they should resign and we'll elect someone who can.

7/ There is another new Green councillor locally posting on social media that he is inundated but saying this is a class issue. It's not a class issue: the issue is the local party selecting candidates who expect to be paper candidates or have unrealistic expectations of what is involved

6/ Locally my new Green councillor's intervention on a problem I've had with the council has been useless, only repeated what I did myself, and been accompanied by regular protestations that he's part time. I don't care.

5/ Clearly I would most agree with a Green Party manifesto but the party's weakness on trans rights indicates it would be selective in what it actually implements out of its official policy positions.
