i’ve been without power for about 24 hours now, except for a few hours earlier. that means the groceries i just put in the fridge yesterday are no good. and i only have $30 in my bank account. cool.

after going out for a few hours to charge my devices i came home and the power came back within half an hour. hell yes timing!

if anyone wants to help me buy a generator, that would be pretty cool. i have refrigerated medicine for my ms and each dose is $30k (before insurance) so it would be extremely bad to lose. i was lucky with this storm that timing worked out and i was able to take it last night instead of wasting it.
