i had one of those years where i don’t feel i have much to actually SHOW but i accomplished a lot in the ways that matter and i feel good about it! i made new friends/deepened existing relationships, laid out groundwork for future goals, paid my bills, fed my family, and i worked! it’s GOOD!

I think it's time we all start recognizing the time between Christmas and the New Year as a shared liminal space marked by warped sense of time passing and excessive somnolence. This is our sleepiest ritual and we should respect it.

Life would be so much easier if we all had a video game health bar above our heads letting everyone know how close we are to a serious health episode or dying
