Yester-8 years ago’s election is not today’s election

The reason The Odyssey is bad is because it’s the same story as Oppenheimer. Both are about men who are the smartest in their time who build a weapon to win a war but fear they ruined society after. Nolan just won an oscar for that story. Why did he have to shove the same ideas into The Odyssey?

I liken this belief to one of the flaws in a criminal justice system based on intention. Without any scientific or objective test for intentions, it’s all too easy to weaponize such that white or privileged ppl never had criminal intent and minorities and oppressed ppl always have criminal intent
