MGP evidently was not in any danger from her left, but perhaps she spent heavily before the primary because she didn't want to finish in second. Regardless, she won't be unhappy if Dems indeed wind up at 56% of the total primary vote (as things stand now)

And some of the most important races aren't even primaries at all. GOP-backed amendments would upend Kansas Supreme Court and make it all but impossible for citizens to amend Missouri constitution.

Michigan's Senate contest takes centerstage, but it's far from the only major contest to watch on this huge primary night. Missouri will use its new GOP-drawn gerrymander for first time, while Kansas, Virginia, and Washington also hold their primaries.
