So far so good but in any case the challenge is the fun part and the best chance to learn

Currently using Blender's tools, I'm using this small project to see how much I can male without the usual team, so no composer and no 3d artist

Give me a good Job system in rpgs and the capacity to mix different abilities and I'll spend 400 hours just making stupid builds

Sometimes a small week-long break can help. If I haven't worked on something for a while I start getting ideas in the most random of situations and as those pile up I get a new wave of excitement and passion

Over time I've realized that (at least for me) Bluesky feels like a sort of low-stake social I know I won't get much reach from posting here and I guess that's sort of comforting, it makes me stress less about the numbers I'd like to hear you thoughts on this platform #indiegame #gamedev #indie

I can't do music, but since this is a smaller project I didn't want to bother our composer so I created a few simple synth clips, a script that randomizes them, added some cicadas and I think I have the base for something cool I must say, proud of myself #indiedev #gamedev #indiegame #unity #devlog

Now you have fixed TWO things!

AC6 Is somewhat similari to Nier, to get the full experience you have to do 3 runs, not only for the obvious branching paths but also extra bits of missions and the full story

The three best examples I've ever seen of NG+ are Armored Core 6, Dark souls 2 and Nier:automata Nier is maybe the "worst" of the three just because the second run is basically identical to the first, DS2 is great with little addition to the base game and AC6 is the best of both worlds

I've used for quite a while Godot but I feel like I made most of my progress as a developer and programmer using Unity so now I have a lot of musce memory with it

released a major patch for our game not too long ago, more than a full year after release. Honestly there's still a bunch of smaller things to fix and I'd love to make a major update/free dlc but currently that's on halt to work on other games, I think no game is ever going to be 100% perfect

the attack animation feels a tad slow but otherwise looks great! if you want to make the swing feel heavier try adding more windup frames and making the actual swing frames faster
