also assigning dot three separate potential dragon megas has me thinking about two years ago when i had this really elaborate dream about dot being a dragon tamer and liko getting turned into a flygon and the two of them going on a journey to turn her back to normal. really old art lmao:

the more i think about it the more indulgent i feel about wanting liko and dot to have latias and latios (and their megas) respectively. like it is an absolutely ridiculous idea that would only exist in fanfiction but it's making me lose it. i need to draw this sometime i need it to be real

okay i went through every mega and took notes as i went and i have decided my top picks for liko and dot, in order: Liko: Absol (Z), Chimecho, Latias Dot: Garchomp (Z), Meowstic/Salamence (tied), Latios with full self awareness the latis are unrealistic and completely self indulgent lol
