Now I'll have to figure out what else to do for myself as a reward. I'm good at gifting other people, but for myself...oh, maybe I'll hold next month's "me money" and put it towards my bed. More delayed gratification but it will reduce the number of dislocations I get from standing up

And I have to wear the watch to monitor my tachycardia. So for things I can choose to not wear and avoid burn type sores, I choose to avoid the injury if I can.

Thank you!

This is after just wearing my watch and outside in hot weather for a little shy of an hour. After 12 hours of healing time.

I've got a tolerable pair of headphones but with my collagen disorder wearing them for long causes skin breakdown, especially in hot weather, so I want something I can set in my yard, or on the kitchen counter and enjoy

I'm still very much a product of chat rooms and icq. I'm pushing 50 and unlikely to change at this point

My plan is to get a decent JBL portable at least in the near term

Sorry, I didn't want to blow my streak 😂

A good speaker for myself is my first month of solitude gift that I'm planning, oddly enough

It's literally my heritage. Which has been a wild thing to learn. Discovering your ancestry in your 40s is a whole trip. Brb, got to do a couple things

I love the traditional Appalachian Music, it's one of the things I miss most about living there. That and actual seasons

If you were just living your life, gently and had someone throw you in a loud, scary prison for no reason, you'd be reactive too! Why is this considered grounds for a death sentence NYACC?

I used to write, got out of it for a few decades, starting to at least putter with it again.

You might enjoy the Folk Duo Wishing Chair, if you're not already aware of them. Their song "Sago" can drop me to my knees in a full on flashback which is sometimes cathartic for me.

I was HUGE on Gregorian Chants, well after the trend faded.

Paul Simon is one of my top 10 lyricists of ALL time, have you ever listened to Emmylou Harris's cover of "The Boxer"?

I'm truly a folk/light rock/blues/country girl at heart. I know, I'm a total stereotype 😂

I'm big on using music to express myself, but my tastes skew old and Midwestern.

I liked the song, I'm not sure about the rest of it it's certainly unique.
