I need to get back on watching wing, it’s very all over the place but I honestly think the show’s themes of like…self-sacrificing rebel agent suicide are fascinating even when they’re kinda mostly a vehicle through which to have Boydrama

oh well I’ll just keep posting abt big o or whatever. I hope people don’t think im ignoring current evils and events I really am not I just tend to read more than I repost honestly partially for lrt’s very reason

I think one of the deeply demoralizing things abt talking abt the various cruelties of the world on the internet is how distant any kind of victory feels. people don’t change their minds, they’re either too stubborn, too incentivized to not do so, or too big an entity (corporation) to be convinced

they'd never do this bc of the cowardice of corporations but i think one really fun way they could do a Big O prequel that gets into the pre-Event era is if they do it with like a COMPLETELY new cast and reveal that all the characters in the OG show were not actually relevant in the before time

im corn plating hard again I know but thinking abt it and the fact that venus apparently used to have giant fuckoff wings in the pre-Event world and has somehow lost them and just has the attachment points where they were supposed to go now does Literally make her the bird with its wings plucked huh
