I was part of making DEI work at Google, particularly on tech. We made some progress but it was an uphill battle. I still strongly believe that If tech was a haven of diversity we wouldn't be heading for disaster.

I mean it's daft, everyone else gets to use a website for Tax and I have to call a fricking number and be on hold for an hour.

I'm on hold for the UK HMRC Tax secure helpline that you have to call if you've been through the Gender Recognition Act process and need to anything Tax related. I first had to call them in 2016 and they still have the same call hold system and music.
