Im livid, my dog is family. My boy saw urgent care yesterday and had to go to emergency vet last night 3hrs waiting the Dr says "he may not wake up tomorrow, but I cant do anything". I watched my boy all night, then we went to another er who actually took care of him. Why is he allowed to practice!

So, I'm confused when and why did it become ok for a big-box stores to track our reproductive health? Because what do you mean youre telling me youre recording that data about me intentionally?

Being the history nerd I am I decided to take on a project... I have little sewing skills other than repairing things, and I decided for my very first sewing project I would make an (as accurate as I can get) English colonial dress, the whole thing... the shift to the buttpad- every piece...

Im kinda irrationally scared of wasps, and I'm proud of myself today for facing that fear to save a sand wasp (Microbembex monodonta) that was drowning. They're not agressive, they hunt flies to feed their larvae, and they're pretty. Much preferred to the red paper wasps that chase me off my porch.

I love bugs, but the more I learn about them, the more hesitant I am to touch any that I don't recognize. This is a blister beetle! If you have a pet and they like eating bugs this is one you need to watch out for. Its in the name- and it can damage kidneys.

Decided to stare out the window with my dog. I get it, the pond out there is quite the spectacle with all the little birds living around it.

I've been trying to capture a picture of this bug for a few days suspecting it was a tiger beetle. Nailed it. Pretty sure he's an Eastern Red-Bellied Tiger beetle. Photo isnt the best, I caught him with my phone camera while slowly creeping towards him. Little dude is fast and paranoid! #bugsky

I've recently developed a small obsession with tiger beetles, I had a minute of wondering which she was. Shes perfectly emerald with some texture on her elytra. Stopped her from drowning so she groomed herself till she was comfortable. She's a Virginia Metallic Tiger Beetle! #bugsky

Saved two of these bad boys from the pool! Its a Carolina metallic tiger beetle. Its species is a symbol of determination and the ability to overcome any obstacle. Thats why I used it in the book I'm writing and I'm happy to see such a rare sight in the daytime. #Bugsofbluesky

Edits and rewrites are freaking brutal, I feel like my research papers were easier than writing a novel.
