My Pinterest feed is full of pictures of smartly dressed grannies (>70 y.o.), as my motto is "dress for the age you'd like to reach, not for the age at which your illness most likely will wipe you out." Getting old is a privilege some people do not have.

Today, I had the unwanted headache of reading through a messy study on a specific type of chronic blood cancer, study that suggests a reduction in specialist access and care for patients whose disease is not caused by 3 main canonical mutations. This means 30% of patients would fall between chairs.

"Just as he has been one of the most vociferous European leaders when it comes to criticising Israel’s conduct in Gaza and Donald Trump’s war in Iran - and defending the benefits of immigration – so Sánchez has long deployed unvarnished language to raise awareness of the climate emergency."

As I had to mend some vintage clothing from the 80s & 90s I've been wearing for a while, it hit me that, outside fast fashion where clothing quality is low, the "they don't do them like they used to" comes with nuances. Jeans from the 80s are not as well done as jeans from the 90s, for example.

🤦‍♀️ This current right-wing government in Sweden that is propped by the far-right is becoming so desperate to make immigration the only topic in these elections to distract from all the issues their governing either created or just made worse. And to distract from corruption allegations.

In Sweden, the Migration Minister argues that the country's Social Democratic opposition leader is partly responsible for the situation in Ceuta, because she recently visited Sanchez…

I get the need in some to be religious. What gets a bit heavy is when they know without any doubt that someone is not religious at all, yet they insist with "I will pray for you" towards non-religious people. How about "I hope you will get well." Or "I will be thinking about you."

Yesterday, due to the media frenzy over Ceuta, I intentionally went to read the political comments on the two enclaves made some time ago by a politician who back them was seen as radical right, and compared them to the current media. Sadly, the current media has a radical right discourse.
