The taking pictures and recording folks in public spaces is getting out of hand. Sometimes it’s warranted, someone is attacking someone etc but people are just using it to be cruel most of the time.

I honestly feel like ChatGPT is going to yield a whole new level of dementia in future generations because folks have just stopped using their brains. It’s really quite harrowing.

Also with this I have the fun experience of writing about my experiences as an immigrant in a country that has socialised healthcare! Kept a running total of how much it would’ve cost me as a freelance artist who wouldn’t have had healthcare if I was still in the states. Spoiler: it’s A LOT.

Was told by several publishers that no one wants to read a memoir comic about becoming an “old mom” and dealing with the stigma of a “geriatric pregnancy” even tho more and more parents are choosing to wait to have children—so I’ll probably make that my personal project in the coming year! ✨
