Did you know that good mental health sometimes means feeling uncomfortable feelings MORE often instead of less?

I just read someone say "maybe some art is just meant to be an 8.5/10" and I felt a little spark in my brain. As a critic I am always evaluating what was amazing about something and what could be improved. But my expectation is never that a great work be a 10/10.

I am a machine and my fuel is praise

Growth requires self kindness I think. I don't think you can bully yourself better.

I'm having a really hard time. Things just keep going too well for me.

Think we're at a point now where large conventions should just get permanent spaces where they operate all the time like a theme park so they can serve people hourly every day with attractions instead of trying to cram 30-60k people into a temporary convention space all on the same weekend.

Also by popular demand, YouTube members-only videos are no longer in the main video feed, so only members will see them and everyone else will see only the free videos they can watch. I was never making fewer free videos than I was ever going to. The bonus vids have always been once per month.

I kinda realized Ive been putting all my hobbies on hold for the last few years because someday I will have time and energy to do fun things again and I realized the last time I was able to do that was during lockdown so... I guess I'll be waiting for the next time the world shuts down 💀

I'm doing much better at the new Rhythm Heaven and I think I owe that completely to Gen 3 RNG manipulation. Made me practice following an audio cue for timing for a few years

Maybe I'm weird but I actually like a midsize to small collection. The excitement of a collection to me is finding a treasure and figuring out how to display and care for it. I also like actually using my things. I'm already at a point where I own more games than I think I will ever actually finish
