I'm posting this not as a complaint, but a lament. Seeing our creations escape control in a universe where authorship is often treated as a detail, frequently ignored www.youtube.com/watch?v=_vpN...

However, countless websites are using this image without my permission. Worse, several 'extended' background versions exist, clearly created with some AI bullshit, also unauthorized

Hello everyone! Many of you likely saw this image recently with the Apple TV+ 'Neuromancer' promotion. Some know, others don't, but this artwork is mine, created alongside actor & post-production artist Milton Menezes, as a personal project and a homage to the original Neuromancer romance

I do like the movie, because it does have genuinely really good parts to it, but I don't *love* it and feel underwhelmed by some aspects.

The appeal of Backrooms to me, was the liminal space, when it was JUST a liminal space. It was ruined for me when everyone took it, ran with it, and turned it into a diet SCP with big scary monsters. I get that's what made it popular with the internet at large, but I never cared for the SCP stuff.

It'd be 1.5/5 or 3/10, but I give it points for going building an actual damn huge MAZE for a set

Watched Backrooms 3/5 stars or 7/10. Points off for SCP and monsters roaming around, and for not actually moving me too much. Points gained for acting, some parts that were genuinely a bit scary, and the actual real life Backrooms set, and a mostly okay story.

And even then the exorcist attire is basicall opra gloves, thigh high heeld boots and a skirt with tights, its something of a feminine knight/crusader type attire.

Sure, sometimes Charlie will wear a dress, but that's very rare and is almost always in more typically masc clothes, and I've never seen Vaggi in masc clothes, ever. Except the flashback showing her as an exorcist.

One thing I love about Chaggi is how they completely defy expectations in terms of gender expression. The soft, sweet, effeminate, bubbly, and outgoing Charlie wears more traditionally masc clothing, while the tough, ready to fight, more "butch" and reserved Vaggi presents more traditionally fem.

FR I know there has been talk about how Vaggi should have been more butch, but i honestly like that Vaggi explored her identity and chose to go with explorimg feminjne clothing while also showimg her body, especially given the injuries she got from Lute, she feels comfortable as herself

Vaggie's commitment to showing off her thighs is something to be loved
