Much better second half by England.

That's one of the reasons Rice isn't world class, though he is very good, England play out really well from the back, Gordon makes a great run, easy pass to put him through and Rice, like he so often does, turns back and passes simply sideways.

I like Fernandes. I like Anderson. I like Wharton. They're all too expensive. The one who probably is closer in ability to his excessive valuation is Anderson, but even City think his present price is too much.

Quite excited to discover how Iraola uses Ngumoha. I'm sure many managers would've used Rio more last season, and that might well have been enough to get him on the plane to the World Cup. Slot though loves Gakpo.

I've been saying this the best part of 18 months. Awful for academy players, he showed little interest, didn't attend any academy games, always flew off for holidays during NT breaks which is a great opportunity to develop youngsters, never trusted youth except when forced to.

Arsenal still had a great season so I won't be mocking them. Not tonight anyway. They have a good age group and very strong depth so they'll be there or there abouts next season in the league as they have stability while rivals have had big changes.

I think with Eze's penalty he was waiting/hoping for the keeper to make a move then roll it in opposite corner but when keeper didn't move his body position wasn't right to hit the ball hard so I'm trying to do that he didn't get direction right adjusting.

It is light. I also think Iraola (if he joins) would use our academy and youth players a lot more. He trusts youth players, develops them and makes them better. The season prior Bournmouth had a great season with a 21yr old and 19yr old CB pairing - both got sold for big money to top teams.

Havertz starting is no surprise at all. That's the most sensible call. The decisions with Skelly in midfield and the fullbacks (partly due to injury) are more interesting and we'll see how that plays out.

Absolutely the right decision to part ways with Slot. Thanks for his part in the Title win. Decision should've been made mid-season when we were still in competitions we could win. I wish him the best in the future, he needs to learn from all the mistakes he made and not blame everything else.

Watched his highlights (No I don't watch Bundesliga 2 not never seen him live) and I can see why he's meant to be Germany's biggest midfield talent at the that age. Holding his own playing pretty regularly at 16 in senior football.

I don't want to be mean because he was unfit then injured then unfit then injured then unfit but given his immense price and very little output (often unavailable) it has to be Isak. But hopefully he comes good next season after finding his fitness/form in world cup.
