I saw the red moon rising over the lake from Ward's Island Beach but couldn't get a good picture. Laurel did.
LaurelWhen I went to the lake this evening, I hoped I might spot another firefly. No luck, but it was a lovely view once again, though I paid for it in mosquito bites. The passing cars at the top of the hill bleed light across the trees, making it tricky to capture the stunning red of the rising moon.
It will always be Main Sewage Treatment Playground in our heart of hearts.
