I’m experiencing the same in my EMT course. I think knowing what I want is a huge factor here but also I learned when/who/how to ask for help I suffered unnecessarily when I was younger simply because I didn’t know how to navigate so many things or have anyone I could go to for help

I'm weirdly finding that as I get older, it's easier to learn new skills, which is the opposite of what I thought was supposed to happen. I don't think we're giving enough credit to a lifetime of built skills. When new skills have overlap w/existing ones it greases the wheels for the new.

I am pivoting rn, from tech to healthcare, specifically EMT and then Paramedic Tech is canabalizing itself and I don’t think it will stop anytime soon. Healthcare needs humans still, especially in emergencies I recommend pivoting to a career that requires hands on and can’t be replaced
