A good reminder that it is happening to nearly all of us. I remember one time being embarrassed when corrected by a mate after repeating some falsehood I read online but didn’t check because it sounded plausible. Who knows how many times I was wrong without the correction.

Just finished this one, 'The Joy of X' by Steven Strogatz (2012). It's thought provoking and it explores some tricky concepts but above all, for a book on a traditionally maligned subject, it's readable for those of us who aren't mathematicians #booksky #books #maths 📚
