STG, it doesn't. They can just do a remake in the style of Bravely Default II or do an HD2D remake with some new extra side quests that expand on the cast more in WoR since they can not worry about time crunch. Proof? Final Fantasy VI T-Edition exists and added some of those elements.

At this point, I think they do these enemy announcements this to mess with people. Like, "Look at this enemy, imagine if they were a trial?!". Then go, "JK, lmao. We fooled you, didn't we? One of them was a dungeon boss all along!" Seriously....what was the point of the second 7.0 boss teaser?
