Today's horror from working in Extreme Cleaning. I had a client, 85, who was under threat of being evicted due to squalor. Adult Protective Services referred me. I paid her fee and went to the assessment myself. | She was early to mid dementia. So.. the pictures of her daughter...

The other side of that coin, everyone owes you everything too. The kindness and humanity, and the grace to help you through life with a good heart. And you've got to demand it from them, because especially in the USA, we've somehow ditched our one true job in this universe.

That whole "I don't owe anybody anything" is bullshit, you owe everyone everything all the time. We are a species based on community and social interaction, and I won't let you fucking shirk your duties.
