These Star Trek spoilers today make me feel like this was in design during Thunder Junction design, before they realized too many tongue-in-cheek references hurt a set. These took me so far out of interest for this set. Just really missing the mark.

After going back to Threads until I could find a workaround to Bsky's jank age verification, Algorithmic Social Media is just oppressive echo chambers trying to invade everyone else's spaces. It's only a political echo chamber if the user curated it that way.

So far, 40% of the new cards in MBC either break fundamental construction rules or are illegal without Rule 0? Seems like a commander product that's very hostile to the constraints of the format in general. Hoping more of the new cards will float toward center.

My one observation with ManaPool : Vendors either send cards instantly, or almost a week after the order. There is no middle ground. 11 total orders through them so far: 5 postmarked 4+ days after the order 4 of them postmarked same day or day after. That is wildly disciplined volatility

This is why I've had to stay at rest in the face of everything. This was inevitability. It's the next step in the Nazi playbook.

I'm reviving the Magic Regionals tournament system with Nationals happening on the Lawn.

Can't jump in on the Cats SLD because product fatigue. Disappointing because I would be all over this if I had a break on set releases this year.
