Dislike shopping... retail really isn't therapy for me, but did pick up couple of presents & visited Clinique counter. Do visit White Cube at Claydon, juxtaposition of 1800s & modern art is stunning. Just realised Flo shares my birthday month: May. Taureans really are special ... the female ones! 😬😘

Lovely day: AM spent in MK NOT collecting order from M&S, as confirmation only arrived when I got home 🙄 Had my usual kids' size toastie & coffee - and browsed! PM at Claydon House (Indian head massage at spa to sort out neck/sinus issues) & revisited magnificent White Cube exhibition!

Great to see that Michael J. Fox will receive the Bob Hope Humanitarian Award at the Emmys in September in recognition of his contributions to Parkinson’s disease research and advocacy. His scenes in the Curb Your Enthusiasm episode “Larry vs. Michael J. Fox” is comedy gold.

Great to catch up with Sarah Carlin & sister Liz, on visit from Turin. Dinner at Palm Court in Covent Garden. Despite 70s throwback name, serves tasty, reasonably priced food. Next stop: Royal Opera House & a celebration of Argentine ballerina Marianela Núñez. Passionate, romantic & just beautiful.

So jealous of my friend's fuschias! They appear to be genetically modified - big, bright and healthy! She does very little to them, and they grow back stronger each year. I keep telling myself it's the soil, or luck ...

Last night's viewing was Jurassic Park - the original, the only! One thing's for sure ... if I ever find myself in a park with cloned dinosaurs and faulty electric fences, I definitely want Sam Neill, Jeff Goldblum and Laura Dern to be there, too! 😱❤️ ... but maybe not the annoying kids 🤭😬😉

My all-time favourite island! Less crowded/cheaper than neighbouring Capri. Beautiful scenery, natural spas and not many British tourists. It was there I discovered the Garibaldi! (Campari based drink!)
