Any (inacceptable) threats aside, I can't help but feel that the primary purpose of your review is to generate outrage to promote your new website. Letting the current state of Xbox/MS influence your review score is not only unreasonable, but also feels like a slap in the face to the devs.

That being said, no one will talk about this a week from now. ;) And I fully agree with what Alex said in the video.

I understand that you’re strongly critical of AI undermining artistic vision — and that concern is absolutely valid. However, the overall DF messaging on this issue, including your initial (public) reaction and the team’s backpedaling based on feedback, has come across as naive and unprofessional.

Thank you for writing this, I really appreciate it. I've been following Itagaki's career since the early DOA days (and yours too since your time at 1UP, btw), so this really means a lot. I had no idea you two were *that* close.

It was meant to differentiate "computer role-playing games" from "[table-top] role-playing games". So basically digital vs. physical. I think later on, the term "CRPG" has also been used to differentiate western RPGs from JRPGs.
