Twin time me he uses a website called airmap.ca where he has signed up for email alerts that have been helpful to know when the quality drops.

Right it’s strange because all the air quality apps/sites we usually use show good quality still, but since this morning there’s been a pink tinge from the sun characteristic of smoke here… 🫤 The warnings are in bc but further east atm, but still concerning.

There’s an air quality warning but it’s not yet where we are, it possibly will move here in the next several hours/days though so gonna keep checking. Sooo relieved it’s cool rn at least tho hate the wildfires 😣

Same! Both together help block even more light to hopefully make it less hot. The south side sun is so overwhelming 😭💔

I’m also aiming the white side of the white board on the outside in case it helps bounce back the light a bit. I know some people have used tinfoil to do the same, but I’m worried to bother the birds who roost across us.

Sadly I think most weather sites and apps aren’t super accurate. I’ve noticed theweathernetwork has been worse since implementing genAi all over the site,and i suspect some others have as well sigh 😞 My phone rn, for what it’s worth, says tues 27, wed 28, thur 27, fri 26, sat 24, sun 23, mon 23.
