I’m from the Mediterranean myself, I loved stories from ancient Greece and ultimately, they are stories. A movie like this was always bound to have a mix of ethnic backgrounds, so I struggle to think what would be considered a “better choice” than something stifling like exclusively greek actors.

People get so caught up in the politics and not consider the aesthetics of what is a fictional story with elements of fantasy. If we had to be “accurate” every time I bet a-lot of ethnicities wouldn’t get any visibility at all. Being from the Mediterranean myself this is a-ok in my book.

I've had some nasty experiences with a tech lead who would speak really fast with lots of difficult or complex technical knowledge and when I tell him to either repeat himself or to slow down he'd be like "Are you r-ded? Are you not listening? Is it going through one ear and out the other?..." 🙄
