We have to rise above the red-baiting. Socialism is NOT the enemy. War, poverty, exploitation, and billionaire influence are.

Trump went to Michigan to brag about a nonexistent economic boom while workers struggle under his trade war. When challenged, he simply called the heckler a communist. The red-baiting is meant to distract from falling living standards and justify a crackdown on growing opposition.
