one of my favorite things to do every now and then is using my 3d sculpts and making illustrations around them. makes for a good stress test of character likeness and also makes for a good light setup anchorpoint to build off of.

Marion Price... i knew from the get go that her story would be a rough creative journey but the more i work on it the more i realize... i underestimated just how rough... these next 3 volumes are gonna be a spiraling journey.

each few volumes of sunstone are marked by a song for me that becomes a sort of a mental soundtrack for me first 5 volumes ally and lisa- can't help falling in love 6-8 anne laura- scaretale -nightwish 9-11 alan and marion- take me to church -hozier

damn... this is gonna be my first avengers movie that i'm gonna pass up on over time the homework for these movies has gotten too absurd. i can't be bothered to catch up up on all the missed movies and shows to understand what's going on. XD

since i can't really sit and draw much at the time i rewatched he man today and... man... this movie puts me in such a great mood!

i really gotta make a proper video of the finished paintjob on this one. i tried but ended up framing the recording badly , clipping the tops of their heads. damn shame, i even got one of those rotating platforms. but i'll do it in bulk with bauphette and the 3rd sculpt soon

i could so do an artbook that also is doubles as a series of lisa's lisbeth stories. full little illustrated novellas within it. see this is how my troubles usually start. that little back of the mind itch. the dark kermit frog that whispers... do it. i'm not gonna... but i could XD i could...

scope creep truly is the great enemy of finishing things. this was supposed to be a nice simple shot of ally and lisa on their wedding day but now i still have to add more people because i wand the whole damned cast...
