So many different options based on different preferences. If they were a voracious reader in the past, I’d probably try to get them started on a longer series, bc it’s easier to rebuild the habit of reading with a single entry point like that. Maybe something juvenile, like Septimus Heap

That’s exactly how one person described this particular one. I’d say they are generally just more work in a different place with better amenities. The amount of forced socialization is often exhausting for me, but not necessarily bad. Just a high cognitive load bc I’m not one to socialize at work

I think sometimes a dog turns out to be too much dog for a space & it’s okay to recognize that & give the dog its best chance elsewhere You don’t always know what you are getting into or how your life will change, regardless of how well intentioned you are in this moment

Nah I just have been busy (work retreat) and when I checked my notifications it was there. I didn’t think to look at the timestamp & am generally unaware of time as it passes

(I will say anxiety is not my primary reason for sleep difficulties, but slowing my avalanche of thoughts in order to allow sleep to begin is what the story cue does more effectively than physical cues like position or light levels, though I do combine them)
